The new SS E17 + 1 cordless and corded phone system features an extra loud ringing volume and bright red visual ringer making it ideal for the visually or hearing impaired.
The SS E17+1 combines both cordless and corded convenience with the inclusion of two handsets, making it the perfect communication accessory for the home or office. Operational even under power failure conditions, this 2 in 1 digital phone system also includes an Integrated Digital Answering Machine with remote access and Alpha Display Caller ID.
Recognising the importance of telecommunication among the elderly or those who may be visually or hearing challenged, the SS E17 + 1 is designed to overcome the limitations of making and receiving calls on a regular handset. In addition to its distinctive red ringer the SS E17 + 1 features large backlit keypad for easy dialing on both the corded and cordless phone. It also includes an audio boost and manual volume controls on the cordless handset.
Ideal for use in quiet areas the new SS E17+1 phone can be programmed for silent operation. The flashing red handset and base alerts users to incoming calls. This 2.4GHz phone system utilises Uniden's Sound Clarity & Range technology to deliver clear sound that is compatible with hearing aids. Offering the essentials, the special series phone system includes caller ID display, 50 Caller ID memories, built-in pager and a 6 hours battery talk time.
