Uniden donates $50,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation

Sydney: Uniden today presented the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) with a $50,000 donation, as consumers continued their support of the company’s call for a cure this Mother’s Day.

NBCF CEO, Sue Murray gratefully accepted the donation on behalf of the leading community-funded organisation.

“We are delighted with Uniden’s very generous donation and thankful for their ongoing support,” Murray said.

As a NBCF corporate sponsor, Uniden designed a limited edition ELITE 9036+1 cordless phone for the Mother’s Day sales period, with $10 from the sale of every phone donated to the cause.

On making the donation, Uniden National Sales Manager Peter Whipps said Uniden was pleased to continue its support of the NBCF and its search for, not only a breast cancer cure, but also prevention and early detection methods.

“Uniden is thrilled to again be associated with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and we are pleased to make a contribution to the fight against this devastating disease.

“Retailers have been very supportive of our limited edition ELITE 9036+1 cordless phone and we are confident it will retain consumer interest as a Mother’s Day gift,” Whipps said.

The limited edition Uniden ELITE cordless phone continues to be available from all major electrical retailers until June. RRP $199.95

Since 2007, Uniden has donated more than $100,000 to the NBCF.

Uniden calls for a cure to breast cancer this Mother’s Day

Uniden launches GPS car navigation with 360 Degree 3D Landmark Technology

As consumer demand for the latest GPS technologies continues, Uniden has reaffirmed its commitment to the portable car navigation category with the launch of five new car navigation systems.
